Escape the winter weather during February half term and visit Dinosaur World to take part in our fantastic February Fossil Festival. Brave explorers can discover amazing fossils, you can sit on deadly dinosaurs, and even put your head inside the jaw of a fossilised T-Rex skull!

Take our special Fossil Festival Quiz to see if can find the fun facts to answer the questions – it’s great for all the family and helps every age and ability understand about the wonderful world of dinosaurs and fossils. You could win a Dinosaur Expert Certificate and your very own 160-million-year-old fossil.
Have you ever wanted to hunt for dinosaur fossils? Then why not become a fossil hunter in one of the excavation sites! Carefully brush through the sand and discover a whole host of rare claws, teeth and bones! Will you find a Baryonyx claw, a T Rex tooth, the horn of a Triceratops or the Velociraptor skeleton?
Do you want to learn more about fossils? Then join our Fossil Workshop every day at 3pm to hear a talk about fossils. Afterwards you can then make your own amazing fossil to take home and help to make a replica fossil of a baby T-Rex. Visitors can complete the tour and return or stay in the exhibition for the workshop.
All activities are included in the entry price, which is still only £5.95 per visitor, and you get FREE unlimited re-entry for 3 months with our Paleo Pass.
